    Hi,
I'm sure this will of been asked a million times but I am having trouble finding a program to convert my blu-ray mkv file to be able to put on my external hard drive so I can watch on PS3.
I have just got a macbook and previously I was using MKV2VOB to remux the file to mpeg and play on my ps3 but I cant seem to find any software that is quick at converting or that gives me a file at the end when remuxing.
    Any Advice please?

    Thanks

Moving you to our mac section.

MKVtools might be able to convert it to mp4 without reconvert the video. I haven't seen any mkv2vob tool for mac.

Subler is a good (and free) MP4 mux that'll quickly convert your MKVs, but if the video is not H.264 and the audio is something other than AAC or AC3, you can run into problems. If you're interested in streaming, you can use PS3mediaserver, which re-muxes your MKVs on the fly to play on the PS3.

AVIdemux is also a good/free tool, that'll let you passthru stuff that doesn't need to be converted (e.g. pass thru the H.264 video but convert vorbis track to AAC).
